Grasstern  (Rhodohypoxis)

Grasstern (Rhodohypoxis) ist eine Gattung knollenbildender Pflanzen mit kleinen sternförmigen Blüten. Der Grasstern möchte einen vollsonnigen Standort auf gut durchlässigem Boden, der etwas sauer sein muss. Während der Blüte können die Pflanzen etwas Feuchtigkeit und Nahrung brauchen, vermeiden Sie aber zu viel Feuchtigkeit im Winter. Der Grasstern überlebt in unseren Breiten den Winter nur schwer. Man kann ihn darum am besten in Gefäßen halten, die man im Winter an einen verhältnismäßig trockenen Platz stellen kann (z. B. unter ein Vordach). Auf diese Weise können die Pflanzen leichten Frost vertragen. Der Grasstern ist eine dankbar blühende Pflanze für den Gartentisch.
