General information about Woodrush (Luzula):Woodrush (Luzula) is a genus of strong, usually winter green, clump forming grasses. They are perfect ground covers for in (half)shade in normal to moist soil. Woodrush does well under trees and shrubs as long as the soil is not permanently dry. Woodrush combines well with Lesser Periwinkle (Vinca minor), Comfrey (Symphytum) and Knotted Cranesbill (Geranium nodosum).Greater Woodrush - Luzula sylvatica
