Helmkraut  (Scutellaria)

Helmkraut ist eine Gattung von Stauden und Halbsträuchern. Die kleinen Arten stehen gerne im Steingarten in der vollen Sonne auf kalkhaltigem Boden. Die höheren Arten des Helmkrauts gedeihen eigentlich auf allen Böden sowohl in der Sonne als auch im Halbschatten und sind prima Beetpflanzen. Verwenden Sie z. B. Garbe (Achillea), Färberkamille (Anthemis), Mädchenauge (Coreopsis) und Beifuß (Artemisia) als Nachbarpflanzen für das Helmkraut.

Skullcap (Scutellaria) is a genus of perennials and half-shrubs. The small species like it in the rockery in the full sun in alkaline soil. The taller species will grow in any soil in the sun or half shade and are good for in the border. Good neighbour plants for Skullcap are Yarrow (Achillea), Chamomile (Anthemis), Tickseed (Coreopsis) and grey leaved Mugwort (Artemisia).
