Hornklee  (Lotus)

Hornklee gehört zu den Lippenblütlern und hat die charakteristischen Kleeblätter. Hornklee ist in unserem Klima heimisch und fühlt sich an vielen Stellen wohl. Hornklee steht gerne auf einem mäßig nährstoffreichen, gut durchlässigen Boden in der Sonne. Hornklee bildet nach der Blüte Hülsen. Es gibt Arten mit gefüllt blühenden Formen. Gute Nachbarpflanzen sind z. B. Sandkraut (Arenaria), Grasnelke (Armeria), Karpaten-Glockenblume (Campanula carpatica), Thymian (Thymus) und Rosmarin (Rosmarinus).
