General information about Bluet (Houstonia):Bluet (Houstonia) is a nice ground cover which spreads through short runners. Bluet prefers a spot in the sun or half shade in a normal soil, although it will still do well in a poor soil as well. They don't like a too alkaline soil. Bluet is very suited to the rockery or spread along the edge of a path or patio. Ensure good drainage in the winter, which will prolong the plants life. Bluet combines nicely with Black Mondo Grass (Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Niger').Mountain Bluets - Houstonia caerulea 'Millard's Variety'
