General information about Candytuft (Iberis):
Candytuft (Iberis) is an ever green perennial best suited to edge borders or paths. Over time it can form dens mats of usually white flowers. Candytuft likes a spot in the sun in dry to normal, not too fertile soil. Some chalk in the soil is welcome. Straight after flowering it is good to prune Candytuft back in order to keep them nice and compact. Candytuft is also good for in the rockery or grown on walls. Candytuft combines well with Sun Rose (Helianthemum), Carpathian Bellflower (Campanula carpatica), Dwarf Iris (Iris pumila) and Creeping Phlox (Phlox).
