Isotoma is a small ground covering plant with star shaped small flowers. Isotoma likes a normal to dry soil in the sun or half shade. Best to give some protection in hard frost. Isotoma is a long flowering plant which also does well in pots or troughs. Good neighbour plants for Isotoma are Carex oshimensis, Primula veris and the small species of Achillea. Isotoma also is nice as under planting for Astrantia.
