Japanese Parsley  (Cryptotaenia)

Japanese Parsley (Cryptotaenia) grows well in a spot in the half shade and in not too dry soil. If happy, Japanese Parsley will spread with runners which by the way are easily removed. The foliage of Japanese Parsley is useful in the kitchen. There are cultivars with dark foliage. Japanese Parsley is not a long living plant but mostly will self-seed to ensure survival. Looks good when planted next to Japanese Forest Grass (Hakonechloa).
