General information about Sheep's Bit (Jasione):Sheep's Bit (Jasione) is a genus of plants that like sunshine and a dry spot. In Europe we know the species 'montana' as a wild flower in sandy areas. If the soil is too rich it will produce weak plants that will not survive the winter. Sheep's Bit is ideal in the rockery where too much water can drain away freely. Also in a pot on the terrace Sheep's Bit will look good. Combining with Cotton Lavender (Santolina), Thyme (Thymus), Cinquefoil (Potentilla) and Campion (Silene) are nice options.Sheep's Bit Scabious - Jasione laevis 'Blaulicht'
