Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht  (Brunnera)

Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht ist eine Staudengattung mit großem, rauem Blatt. In den letzten Jahren werden viele buntblättrige Varietäten im Handel angeboten. Das Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht schmückt sich im Frühjahr mit lieblichen blauen oder weißen Blüten. Die Pflanze bevorzugt den Halbschatten oder Schatten auf einem humusreichen normalen Boden. Mehr Sonne verträgt sie auch, aber dann muss der Boden feucht genug sein. Die Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht-Arten mit einem überwiegend grauem Blatt vertragen direktes Sonnenlicht besser als Arten mit überwiegend creme-weißen Blättern.
Das Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht ist eine starke Pflanze und kann sehr gut als Bodendecker eingesetzt werden. Die Pflege beschränkt sich darauf, dass nach dem Winter die welken Blätter entfernt werden müssen. Streuen Sie dann gleich etwas Kompost zwischen die Pflanzen. Geeignete Nachbarpflanzen für das Kaukasusvergissmeinnicht sind Golderdbeere (Waldsteinia), Segge (Carex), Christrose (Helleborus) und Waldaster (Aster divaricatus).
