Klee  (Trifolium)

Klee gehört zu einer abwechslungsreichen Gattung aufrechter Pflanzen und Kriecher. Die meisten Arten stellen kaum Ansprüche an den Boden; eigentlich ist jeder normale Boden geeignet. Allerdings stehen alle Klee-Arten gerne in der Sonne. Die niedrigeren Arten kommen mit weniger Sonne aus, dann ist die Blätterfarbe jedoch weniger intensiv. Die hohen Arten sind gute Beetpflanzen und überleben jahrelang. Die niedrigen Klee-Arten können als Bodendecker eingesetzt werden, z. B. entlang Gartenpfaden und Terrassen. Hummeln und Bienen mögen Klee besonders gerne.
