Kokardenblumen sind kurzlebende, buschige Pflanzen mit einer langen Blütezeit, die sehr schöne Schnittblumen liefern. Pflanzen Sie Kokardenblumen auf nährstoffreichen, gut durchlässigen Boden und in die volle Sonne. Vermeiden Sie zu viel Feuchtigkeit im Winter. Wenn Sie die Kokardenblume im September bis auf 5 bis 10 cm über dem Boden zurückschneiden, entwickeln sich neue Triebe. Damit verlängern Sie das Leben dieser prächtigen Pflanzen. In strengen Wintern sollten die Pflanzen abgedeckt werden. Die Kokardenblume zieht viele Insekten an.
