General information about Motherwort (Leonurus):Motherwort (Leonurus) belongs to a genus that used to be used against heart problems. They are robust plants which fit in well in a natural planting or in the herb garden. Motherwort prefers a spot in the sun or half shade in normal, reasonably fertile soil. The flowers of Motherwort sit in dense circles around the stem. If you do not wish them to self-seed, cut the stems back direct after flowering. Although this looks quite drastic, new shoots will form from the base quickly.Cow Wort - Leonurus cardiaca
