General information about Toadflax (Linaria) (Linaria):Toadflax (Linaria) is a plant with snap dragon shaped flowers which bloom for a long time. The plant prefers a spot in the sun in dry to normal soil, ideally slightly alkaline. Toadflax can self-seed but does not get invasive. If you do not want this, simply cut away the flower stem after flowering. This will also encourage the plant to form new shoots and prolong its life. Toadflax is good in a flower meadow or natural garden, combined with ornamental grasses such as Fescue (Festuca), Feather Grass (Stipa) and Soft Grass (Holcus).Butter and Eggs - Linaria vulgaris
