Mahagonigras

Mahagonigras  (Uncinia)

General information about Hook Sedges (Uncinia):
Hook Sedges (Uncinia) belongs to a genus that very much looks like Sedge (Carex). The grasses originate from Australia, New Zealand and South America and therefore are not fully hardy with us. Give Hook Sedges a good covering in winter. Plant them in the full sun in normal ground. Hook Sedges has beautiful coloured foliage as does very well in a pot on the patio.
