Maidenhair Fern  (Adiantum)

Maidenhair Fern (Adiantum) is a genus of beautiful ferns. They look very delicate, but are deceivingly tough. Their fresh green foliage contrasts nice with the dark coloured stems. Maidenhair Fern will grow in most soils, although a bit of lime is appreciated. Plant Maidenhair Fern in a sheltered position in half shade and a normally moist soil. Some mulch will protect the delicate young shoots.
