Melica

Melica - Melick

Melica is a medium tall grass that likes a spot in the sun or half shade in normal to dry soil. Melica has beautiful flowers. Unfortunately, it will self-seed very easily. If this gets too much for you, just cut away the pinnacle when finished flowering. These can then also be used in flower arranging. Melica is good for a natural garden, combined with Centranthus, Agastache and Anthemis.
