General information about Golden Saxifrage (Chrysosplenium):Golden Saxifrage (Chrysosplenium) is a genus of low growing plants, mainly from the Northern Hemisphere. Also, in Western Europe we find a few species in the wild. Golden Saxifrage will grow there in a moist location in semi shade on the banks of streams or ponds. For in the garden, Golden Saxifrage is good in a shady corner of a pond, together with Marsh Marigold (Caltha) and Drumstick Primrose (Primula denticulata). Golden Saxifrage flowers in spring with yellow green or white flowers and will form a nice mat in the correct position.Golden Saxifrage - Chrysosplenium macrophyllum 'Crug'
