General information about Partridgeberry (Mitchella):Partridgeberry (Mitchella) is a genus of only two species. They are creeping perennials with woody base. Partridgeberry is a ground cover which remains green in winter. The plant has nice leaves, small white flowers followed by red berries. Partridgeberry likes a spot in (half)shade in acidic, moisture retaining soil. You can always mix some peat in the soil.
