General information about Miterwort (Mitella):Miterwort (Mitella) is a small genus of plants that make you think of Foam Flower (Tiarella). Miterwort is a nice ground cover for a spot in (half)shade in normal to moist soil. Miterwort combines well with Spleenwort (Asplenium), Barrenwort (Epimedium), Sedge (Carex) and not too large Hosta (Hosta). There are a few varieties grown now with nice marked leaves.Brewer's Miterwort - Mitella stylosa var. 'Makinoi'
