General information about Water-dropwort (Oenanthe):
Water-dropwort is a genus of wetland and aquatic plants with a natural appearance. The plants are notable for their umbellate flowers, which attract many insects such as bees and hoverflies. Water-dropwort prefers a sunny to lightly shaded spot with sufficient moisture. If the plant feels at home, it can sow itself profusely. If you do not want this to happen, cut the flower stems from the plant after flowering. Water-dropwort is highly poisonous!
