Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove

Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove  (Titanotrichum)

Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove (Titanotrichum) is an unknown genus of plants from Asia. In autumn the plant has beautiful warm yellow flowers. Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove is not the easiest to get in bloom and is fussy about its location, especially concerning water needs. Because Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove is also not fully hardy with us it is much better to grow them in a large pot with good compost. Stand the pot on a large saucer in which some water sits all through the summer. In winter, bring the pot inside and keep drier. If you witch to plant Oldham's Gold Woodland Foxglove outside in the garden, make sure water will drain away properly in winter and protect them against any frost. As far as light is concerned, half shade is best.
