General information about Restharrow (Ononis):
Restharrow (Ononis) is a genus of half shrubs and perennials belonging to the family Fabaceae. Some species of Restharrow carry thorns. This does not bother the many insects that visit the plants and like it because of its long flowering season. Restharrow likes the full sun on normal to dry, well-draining soil. Restharrow fit well in a natural planting or in one that is aimed at providing nectar too bees, together with, for instance Oregano (Origanum) and Thyme (Thymus).
