Pelargonium - Pelargonium

Pelargoniums are often popularly referred to as Geraniums, but strictly speaking, Geranium is a different genus of plants. They are closely related, but Geranium is generally much more frost-resistant than Pelargonium. The Pelargoniums in our range can often tolerate some frost, but it is better to cover them for the winter to be safe or to keep the plants in pots free of frost. Pelargonium likes sun to light shade in normal to dry soil. Ensure good drainage of excess water, especially in winter.
