Pineapple Flower  (Eucomis)

Pineapple Flower (Eucomis) is a bulbous perennial with pinnacles of small star shaped flowers and a ring of foliage underneath. Therefore, they can resemble pineapples. Pineapple Flower is nice planted in a pot and in the full sun on the patio. Make sure the plant gets enough moisture during the growing period. Bring the pots inside in the winter and keep the Pineapple Flower quite dry.
