Prachtspiere  (Astilbe)

Prachtspieren gibt es in vielen Arten, von klein bis groß. Die meisten Arten bevorzugen einen Standort im Halbschatten und normalen bis leicht feuchten Boden. Prachtspieren der 'chinensis' Sorten vertragen mehr Sonne und Trockenheit als die anderen Arten. Jedes Jahr Kompost wird von der Pflanze geschätzt. Die Prachtspiere kommt in größeren Gruppen am besten zur Geltung. Sie kann sowohl in Beeten als in einer natürlichen Pflanzung gut verwendet werden. Die verblühten Ähren der Prachtspiere sind im Winter ein schöner Anblick. Verwenden Sie z. B. Purpurglöckchen (Heuchera), Eisenhut (Aconitum) und Segge (Carex) als Nachbarpflanzen für die Prachtspiere.
