Primel  (Primula)

Primel ist eine Gattung mit ganz charakteristischen Blüten. Sie sind für jede Stelle im Garten erhältlich, von trockenem bis nassem Boden, von Sonne bis Schatten. Alle Primel-Arten haben eine Blattrosette, aus der die Blüte wächst. Die meisten Primel-Arten fühlen sich in normalem bis feuchtem Boden und im Halbschatten wohl. Es gibt bei der Primel viele Variationen an Wuchs- und Blütenformen. Die Pflanzen kreuzen sich auch leicht untereinander. Die meisten Primel-Arten blühen im Frühjahr. Gute frühblühende Nachbarn sind u. a. Strahlen-Windröschen (Anemone blanda), Sauerklee (Oxalis), Kuhschelle (Pulsatilla), Moos-Steinbrech (Saxifraga arendsii), Hornveilchen (Viola cornuta) und Kriechender Ehrenpreis (Veronica repens).
