General information about Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum):
Mountain Mint (Pycnanthemum) is related to Oregano (Origanum). They are bushy plants with dense clusters of small flowers on the end of a stem. Mountain Mint does well in virtually any soil in the sun or half shade. Its foliage smells fresh, like Mint (Mentha), and is good for brewing thee. The flowers of Mountain Mint attract lots of insects. Mountain Mint sits well in a natural planting, together with Thyme (Thymus) and Soapwort (Saponaria).
