Raoulia - Scabwort

Raoulia is a very low growing ground cover from Australia, New Zealand and Tasmania. Raoulia wants a spot in the sun and in no circumstances be wet. The plant is best in the rockery where it will creep nicely over rocks. Protect Raoulia against icy winds by covering them with some conifer branches. Raoulia is also good in a pot. A nice combination is planting Raoulia together with small groups of dark leaved Sempervivum.
