Rhodohypoxis is a genus of tuber forming plants with small star-shaped flowers. Rhodohypoxis wants a spot in the full sun in slight acidic, well-draining soil. During flowering the need moisture and feed, but avoid too much moisture in winter. It is not easy to get Rhodohypoxis through the winter with us. They are probably best planted in pots with can be placed somewhere dry, under a covering in winter. This way they will take a light frost. Rhodohypoxis is a thankful little plant for on the patio table.
