General information about Wild Petunia (Ruellia):
Wild Petunia (Ruellia) is a genus of plants with flowers like the common Petunia, only smaller. They originally grow along the edges of woods. Wild Petunia likes to be in the sun or half shade in normal to dry soil. Wild Petunia combines nicely with Tickseed (Coreopsis), Coneflower (Echinacea) and ornamental grasses, such as Love Grass (Eragrostis) and Bluestem (Schizachyrium).
