General information about Cotton Lavender (Santolina):Cotton Lavender (Santolina) is a small half-shrub for in a dry spot in the full sunshine, preferably in slight alkaline soil. Cotton Lavender usually has (pale) yellow flowers and greyish foliage. The small leaves have a pleasant scent. In a bad summer, the flowering can be a bit disappointing. In April, cut Cotton Lavender halfway back and top the stems again after flowering in order to maintain a nice bushy plant. Cotton Lavender does not like water at all in the winter. Ensure very good drainage is in place.
