Scheintaubnessel hat Blüten, die den Blüten der Taubnesseln ähneln, aber sie sind viel größer und duften außerdem. Die Scheintaubnessel bildet unterirdische Ausläufer, die neue Pflanzen bilden, sobald sie den Boden erreichen. Wenn Sie dies beachten, kann die Pflanze sehr gut unter Sträuchern oder in Wallhecken verwendet werden. Die Scheintaubnessel steht gerne im Halbschatten auf normalem bis mäßig feuchtem Boden.

Japanese Dead Nettle (Meehania) has flowers that resemble those of the common Dead Nettle, but they are much larger and also scent. Japanese Dead Nettle forms above ground runners that will root wherever they touch the ground. This makes them very suitable as a ground cover underneath hedges or shrubs. Japanese Dead Nettle prefers half shade in normal to moist soil.
