Schlangenkopf  (Chelone)

Schlangenkopf ist eine robuste, aufrechte Staude, die an beinahe jeder Stelle gedeiht. Nur darf der Boden im Sommer während der Blüte nicht austrocknen. Gute Nachbarpflanzen des Schlangenkopfes sind Himmelsleiter (Polemonium), Dreimasterblume (Tradescantia) und Sibirische Schwertlilie (Iris sibirica). Es sind Pflanzen, die jedes Jahr wieder zuverlässig zurückkommen und zudem gute Schnittblumen sind.
