Schmuckkörbchen  (Cosmos)

Schmuckkörbchen ist eine mit der Dahlie verwandte Gattung von einjährigen und Knollen bildenden Pflanzen. Zu den letzten gehören Pflanzen der 'atrosanguineus'-Art. Die braunroten Blüten dieser Pflanzen duften bei warmen, sonnigem Wetter nach Schokolade. Pflanzen Sie einige Exemplare in einen großen Topf und stellen Sie diesen auf Ihre Terrasse. Durch seine außergewöhnliche Farbe und seinen Duft findet das Schmuckkörbchen ganz bestimmt Beachtung. Wenn Sie die Pflanzen überwintern wollen, stellen Sie sie im Topf an eine kühle, aber frostfreie Stelle und gießen Sie sie kaum noch. Im März oder April ersetzen Sie die alte durch neue Erde, in die Sie die Knollen wieder pflanzen und mäßig gießen, bis sie gut austreiben. Mexican Aster is nice to plant some in a large pot on the terrace. With its unusual colour and scent it will attract plenty of attention. Best to winter Mexican Aster in a cool, frost free spot and keep it dry. As with Dahlia's, re-plant the tubers of Mexican Aster in a pot or in the garden in March / April. Water sparingly until the plants show plenty of new growth.
