Schuppenfarn  (Dryopteris)

Schuppenfarn ist eine große Farngattung. Die Farne kommen auf fast der ganzen Welt vor und sind halbwintergrün bis wintergrün. Entfernen Sie das hässliche Blatt Ende März von der Pflanze. Der Schuppenfarn ist nicht wählerisch, was den Standort betrifft, aber volle Sonne sollte vermieden werden. Der Schuppenfarn bildet Horste, wuchert nicht und darf in keinem Wald- oder (Halb-)Schattengarten fehlen. Der Schuppenfarn ist vollkommen winterhart, aber wenn Sie ihn im Herbst pflanzen, ist es empfehlenswert, ihn im ersten Winter mit einer Schicht Laub abzudecken.
