Scilla - Squill

Scilla is a bulbous perennial with small star shaped flowers which bloom early in spring. Scilla likes a spot in the sun or half shade. During the growing season the soil must be moist but in the summer it may be drier. If happy where they are, Scilla can spread quite well and therefore it is a good little plant to let it go its way under trees, shrubs or large ferns. Scilla combined with Anemone nemorosa looks good.
