General information about Skullcap (Scutellaria):
Skullcap (Scutellaria) is a genus of perennials and half-shrubs. The small species like it in the rockery in the full sun in alkaline soil. The taller species will grow in any soil in the sun or half shade and are good for in the border. Good neighbour plants for Skullcap are Yarrow (Achillea), Chamomile (Anthemis), Tickseed (Coreopsis) and grey leaved Mugwort (Artemisia).
