Sellerie  (Apium)

Sellerie ist eine Gattung der Doldenblütler, aus der wir auch in Deutschland einige Arten kennen. Die bekannteste Art ist Apium graveolens, die oft als zweijährige Pflanze angebaut wird. Das Blatt der Sellerie hat einen sehr ausgeprägten Geschmack und wird viel in der Küche verwendet. Sellerie steht gerne an einer sonnigen Stelle mit ausreichend feuchtem und nährstoffreichem Boden.
