General information about Wild Senna (Senna):
Wild Senna (Senna) is a member of the Leguminosae family, mostly from warmer climates. Some species of Wild Senna are hardy with us. It is still advised to give them some extra protection during the first few winters. Wild Senna flowers with yellow blooms which are followed by pea-like long fruits. Wild Senna likes a warm spot in the sun in normal soil. Place Wild Senna in the back of the border or use them in a natural planting next to ornamental grasses such as, for instance Small Reed (Calamagrostis).
