Senna

Senna - Wild Senna

Senna is a member of the Leguminosae family, mostly from warmer climates. Some species of Senna are hardy with us. It is still advised to give them some extra protection during the first few winters. Senna flowers with yellow blooms which are followed by pea-like long fruits. Senna likes a warm spot in the sun in normal soil. Place Senna in the back of the border or use them in a natural planting next to ornamental grasses such as, for instance Calamagrostis.
