Setcreacea is a long flowering plant for in the sun or half shade. The plant has unusual shaped flowers which resemble those of Tradescantia. The flowers of Setcreacea open up in the evening or early morning and close again in the afternoon. Setcreacea want normal water in the summer as long as it can drain away. The plant is not fully hardy with us. Use as a patio plant and bring the pot inside before the first frost. Keep Setcreacea quite dry in winter, the roots may dry up a bit.
