Blue-eyed Grass (Sisyrinchium) is a perennial with grass like leaves and small star shaped flowers. They are not fully hardy but luckily self-seed readily. Blue-eyed Grass likes a not too fertile, well-draining moist soil in a sunny spot. Good neighbours for Blue-eyed Grass are Cinquefoil (Potentilla), Candytuft (Iberis) and Rockfoil (Saxifraga arendsii)
