Skabiose  (Scabiosa)

Skabiose liebt einen Standort in der vollen Sonne und einen relativ trockenen bis normalen Boden. Sie zieht viele Bienen und Schmetterlinge an. Die Skabiose gibt eine gute Schnittblume ab, lässt man sie jedoch wachsen formen sich auch schöne Samenköpfchen. Um die Skabiose vital zu halten, können Sie sie am besten alle paar Jahre ausgraben und teilen. Gute Nachbarpflanzen sind Sonnenbraut (Helenium), Steppensalbei (Salvia nemorosa), Federgras (Stipa), Präriemalve (Sidalcea), Kugeldistel (Echinops) und Fackellilie (Kniphofia).
