Spleenwort  (Asplenium)

Spleenworts (Asplenium) are ferns with nice foliage which will remain green in mild winters. Spleenwort grow well on walls and in pots in half shade. When planted in the garden they want a humus rich soil, normal to moist. Once established, Spleenwort with cope well with periods of drought. In the wild, Spleenwort can still be found growing on walls and river banks.
