General information about Frost Grass (Spodiopogon):Frost Grass (Spodiopogon) is a genus of grasses with broad, somewhat protruding leaves. Therefore, the plant somewhat resembles bamboo. Frost Grass forms upright clumps above which the flowers sit proudly. The plant likes an open spot in the sun in normal to slightly moist soil. Half shade is ok, but then the autumn colours will be less. Frost Grass can be used as a specimen as well as in small groups. A nice strong neighbour plant for Frost Grass is Sunflower (Helianthus).Siberian Graybeard - Spodiopogon sibiricus
