Hedge Nettle (Stachys) is a large genus of perennials. They pretty much grow in any soil as long as not too wet. Hedge Nettle attracts lots of butterflies and bees and therefore is good for in the natural garden. The species Lamb's Ear (Stachys byzantina), with its grey leaves is often used as a ground cover.
