Steinsame  (Buglossoides)

Steinsame hat borstig behaartes Blatt. Der Steinsame ist eine Pflanze für trockenen bis normalen Boden, die sowohl in der Sonne als im Schatte gedeiht. Am liebsten steht der Steinsame im Halbschatten, z. B. unter einem Baum. Wenn sich die Pflanze wohlfühlt, kann sie etwas wuchern, aber diese Eigenschaft macht den Steinsamen auch zu einem sehr guten Bodendecker. Sie sollten ihn in Gruppen pflanzen, denn eine einzelne Pflanze macht einen unordentlichen Eindruck. Gute Nachbarpflanzen für den Steinsamen sind Blut-Storchschnabel (Geranium sanguineum), Goldnessel (Lamiastrum) und Blaugras (Sesleria).

General information about Purple Gromwell (Buglossoides):
Purple Gromwell (Buglossoides) has rough bristly foliage and is a plant for a dry to normal soil. They will tolerate sun as well as shade but prefer a spot in half shade, such as under a tree. Once established and happy they need to be kept under control as they spread freely. Purple Gromwell can be used as a good ground cover though. Plant them in groups as a single plant looks a bit lost. Purple Gromwell planting with Bloody Cranesbill (Geranium sanguineum), Yellow Archangel (Lamiastrum) and Moorgrass (Sesleria) looks good.
