Süßdolde

Süßdolde  (Myrrhis)

Süßdolde ist eine Gattung von Doldenblütlern. Es sind Pflanzen, die gerne in der Sonne oder im Halbschatten stehen, an einer Stelle, an der der Boden nicht austrocknet. Die Süßdolde duftet angenehm nach süßer Lakritze oder Anis. Die Pflanze ist sehr anziehend für Insekten. Die weißen Doldenblüten der Süßdolde kommen vor allem vor einem dunklen Hintergrund besonders gut zur Geltung. Die fein eingeschnittenen Blätter stehen sehr schön neben Blattpflanzen wie Funkie (Hosta) und Purpurglöckchen (Heuchera). Für die Verwendung in der Küche ist vor allem Myrrhis odorata geeignet. Im Internet findet man viele Rezepte.
