Thymian  (Thymus)

Thymian ist eine Gattung kriechender Stauden mit duftenden Blättern. Sie bilden dichte Teppiche, über die Sie ab und zulaufen können. Von Thymian sind verschiedene Blätterarten, Düfte, Blütenfarben und Wachstumsformen bekannt. Es sind Pflanzen, die gut für den Steingarten, kleine Mauern oder als 'zufällige' Gäste entlang eines Pflasterweges geeignet sind. Sie ziehen viele Insekten an.
